Orchids at the New York Botanical Gardens – 2011

I go every year to the orchid show and find beauty in the sinuous forms and exploding colors of this magical flower. Its well worth a morning visit for this magical exhibit. This series show with Nikon D7000 and Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR Macro Lens. More pictures after the link.

Animation – Yellowstone Waterfalls

Animation – Munching Elk

I have been playing around with sequences of pictures I have taken in the past, to make some interesting, funny gif animations to entertain nature lovers. These particular pictures were taken of Elk lounging around in Yeloowstone National Park in the fall season. What do you think?
